A huge thank-you to everyone who came to today’s Standing Strong rally outside Downing Street. British Friends of Israel formed a very strong, visible presence at the front of the 20,000-strong crowd and we were referred to as important allies by a number of speakers. Our flags and banners are evident in so many photos and videos from the day.
Some of you travelled from as far away as Edinburgh, Lincoln and the South West of England to show support and we know that means a lot to our Jewish friends.
Thank you also for all the supportive emails we have received over the past week from those unable to make it to London today. We value your kind words and your donations and do our best to convey to the Jewish individuals and organisations that we meet, the strength of our subscribers’ unwavering opposition to antisemitism.
